Interlocking Garage Flooring & Garage Floor Tiles

Garage Floor Tiles - Durable and easy-to-install flooring

Your garage sees so much activity but is frequently the poor relation when it comes to making it a comfortable and enticing space to be in. While the rest of your house benefits from wooden floors, tiles, or carpets, most people’s garages have a dusty, unloved concrete floor! We recommend investing a little in appropriate flooring for the place you park your car, motorcycle or where your workshop is.

Shop to maintain your floor for longer!

One of the many benefits of investing in high-quality garage flooring is that it allows you to maintain your current garage floor for longer. Because working garage floor tiles absorb much of the pressure and shock placed upon them, the floor underneath the tiles will experience less strain and pressure, and so will be kept in better condition. Your standard concrete garage floor can easily get slippery, and this could put you at risk. However, high-quality garage flooring provides a grippy surface which helps make the floor less slippery and, therefore, safer to walk on.

Our garage flooring, and particularly our interlocking garage floor tiles, are exceptionally easy to install and maintain. Simply tap them together with a rubber mallet, and they’re ready to go; there’s no need for glue, soldering, or anything else!

When it comes to premium-quality flooring solutions, it’s important that you shop for the right option for your needs! Fortunately, interlocking floor tiles can be an incredibly beneficial solution for a wide variety of different applications. Interlocking tiles are much like jigsaw pieces. The tiles lock together, which means that they can be used to make an entire floor covering easily and quickly. This is one of the key benefits of interlocking floor tiles for your garage. And this is exactly why many people choose to invest in them.

Our click-and-lay installation makes fitting easy! Check the time-lapse video below to see how to fit our interlocking garage floor tiles. Interlocking garage floor tiles have become popular as a viable garage flooring option. Interlocking floor tiles are incredibly resilient and simple to install, and they are available in hard plastic or PVC vinyl that resembles rubber. If you have a helper, installation can be completed in less than in a day - often in a matter of hours! Since the tiles snap into position and interlock, very few tools are needed. No prior knowledge is required. If you damage a tile, you just pull it up and can have another one laid in less than 2 minutes. Very basic equipment has to be used, which is not time-consuming work, and no money will be spent to cover and install a whole new floor. A lifetime garage flooring solution

We have been producing our interlocking garage floor tiles for years, with the help of British manufacturers. These tiles swiftly conceal flaking paint and unevenly or dustily finished concrete. Not only are these top-quality PVC interlocking tiles durable, and convenient, but they are also satisfyingly quick and easy to lay onto the existing flooring.

These tiles are tough enough to be used with motorbike stands, engine hoists, car jacks, or gym equipment.

They are very low-maintenance – just sweep and mop, and they leave an attractive and odour-free finish. Interlocking garage flooring tiles are made from quality plastic that doesn’t require installation services from any professional.

What are interlocking garage floor tiles?

Interlocking garage floors look like jigsaw puzzles. The tiles are anchored together, so it’s possible to create a complete floor covering in just minutes. Because interlocking tiles can be arranged together, these provide numerous advantages.

Drawbacks to interlocking garage floor tiles

There may be downsides to installing overlapping flooring in garages. A major problem with interlocking floor tiles in garage areas is that they might not completely smooth out. Buying interlocking tiles that easily connect will eliminate most of this problem and taking correct steps to fit them properly (leaving an expansion gap around walls/fixed fittings) will take care of the rest of it for you, leaving you with a perfect new floor space!

Really good experience. Fitting them was a doddle and it looks so nice. Cleaning the surface is essential before starting and a decent mallet is also essential.

FAQs

How to install floor tiles in a garage?

Our general recommendation is to start at the front with your edge ramp and continue onward from there. Because the tiles are modular, they can be laid easily in all the required patterns, allowing easy trimming and cutting using a jigsaw or guillotine/tile cutter. They can also be cut with a Stanley Knife or using most other types of saw.

Why do you need interlocking garage flooring?

Choosing the perfect flooring solution is crucial to achieving the perfect floor! Interlocking floor tiles serve different purposes. They're easy to install, affordable and replaceable in case of damage. Compare these products with other flooring products and you'll see this solution fits all your garage needs!

Do garage floor tiles need extra care?

Our flooring tiles require very minimal care because of their durability, are easily cleaned and can last you a very long time. The adhesive is needed only when part of the tile is in close proximity to unnatural heat or in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time.

FAQs

Are garage floor tiles worth it?

PVC Garage Floor tiles are water resistant, making them provide excellent traction in wet weather. The material is highly flexible and durable. They're free of odour and surface imperfections and also rust-resistant and resistant to mildew. Not only that, but they're 100% recyclable and have a lifespan of 20+ years.

What tiles are best for a garage floor?

The most heavy-duty garage floor is manufactured with 100% high-density Vinyl PVC. It is typically 7mm thick and it is resistant to most chemicals, oils or grease. Liquids do not infiltrate into the material. It is strong enough for vehicle jacks, axle stands, motorbike stands and other heavy-duty tools. Working garages need sturdy tiles and PVC tiles are the best option.

Can you tile over a concrete garage floor?

Yes, you can tile a concrete garage floor but major cracks in the foundation will need to be repaired before you lay the concrete. Minor undulations are generally fine. If you are unsure please get in touch and our team will be happy to help you - you’d be amazed what you can solve with a bit of self levelling compound where needed!

Are garage floor tiles safe to use?

All our PVC products are odourless and non-toxic. They are free of ammonia, latex, phthalates and Formamide. They are tested at source by SGS to REACH EU Guidelines and in the UK by SATRA, the materials testing agency. Our PVC products are also tested to meet the following classifications:
